Global AML Investigations Tracking System

I was brought in to redesign the existing anti-money laundering investigation platform. The investigators were performing their investigations locally and then entering their findings into the existing platform at the end of the investigation. As part of the redesign, stakeholders were interested in estimating the average length of time for an investigation by providing an enhanced workflow that would encourage better use of the platform and increase teamwork within the department.

Dashboard

The dashboard features a list of internal company announcements, notifications of pending requests, reports assigned to the investigator, and a measurement of past and current productivity of the team.

Report Overview

After my investigator task analysis and interviews, I was able to define the fields that we most important and simplify the display of the inputs. I also included access to investigators that had previously worked on the report so the current assignee could more easily ask questions to fellow team members.

Parties of Interest

The investigator can add parties of interest to the report that may be tied to the investigation. The user can reshuffle the cards in order of importance or delete a party of interest if they are no longer considered involved the dispute.
